# What is a Slope Chart and How Do I Use the Slope Chart Feature in Handicap System Players Web App?

The Player's `gsSlope` Chart is accessed by tapping on the **Handicap Icon** from the main screen.

Tap on the **Chart Button** to access player's `gsSlope` Chart.

Tapping on the **Chart button** will open a `gsSlope` chart.

* Note: The purpose of the `gsSlope` chart is to convert a golfer's `gsIndex` to a handicap. Rather than consulting the charts/ books at the course, you have the data here in your mobile device. Scroll down to find the course's `gsSlope`, the number to the right is the handicap based on the golfer's `gsIndex`.
* Example: For a player with a `gsIndex` of 12.1 who plays a course with a `gsSlope` of 61 will have a handicap of 7.
